 If you’re used to eating out every morning, here’s what you can do. Order eggs without the bacon, request margarine instead of butter for your bread, and ask for bran bread w\instead of white bread.

 If it’s eggs you’re ordering, ask for egg whites instead of whole eggs. If you want to top off your healthy breakfast with something sweet, choose yogurt, fruit or even a whole wheat bagel.

 Many people are big on cereals for breakfast. But make sure you read the label for ingredients before you pick a pack and drop it into your shopping cart.

 Oatmeal is rich in fibre, which will keep your tummy full. It also brings down cholesterol. Another oatmeal plus is that the carbohydrates it contains are released into the bloodstream slowly. This prevents the onset of cravings.

 Every single nutritionist will also tell you that cereals made from whole grain are healthier because they contain more fibre than refined cereal.

 And who said you can’t eat fast food? So if you’re pressed for time and must grab a bite on the go, you could carry a turkey sandwich with you.

 Turkey is lean met and will provide you with the calories that you need for a great start to your day. But make sure the bread is brown not white bread. And you can add some low-fat mayonnaise too!

 If you think you need something more, try fruit. If you’re looking for a change, you can wrap some yoghurt in a whole-wheat tortilla. That should make for a healthy breakfast plan.
